Save the date: On November 19, 2025, we will celebrate the official reopening of FabLab Chemnitz!
Note regarding the offer/restriction: We have been offering the weekly open workshop from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. again for a while now. However, we are still working on a few key areas until the opening in order to restore the original workshop offering from Philippstraße and are struggling with various infrastructure problems in the Stadtwirtschaft.

We officially open our FabLab Chemnitz 2.0 on 19 November 2025 and overcome the strenuous construction period.

Relocation and damage

Dear members and guests of Stadtfabrikanten e.V. and FabLab Chemnitz,

HAPPY NEW YEAR! ;-)

Let's start with the good news: we handed over our old club premises on time on 31.12.2023 and completed the move to temporary storage. Our new premises in the Stadtwirtschaft will soon be ready for occupation and then we will start to breathe new life into the club and the location. We already have big plans for this and are looking forward to presenting them to you soon.
