On 09.05.2026 is European Day. This is where fundamental values of the EU such as peace, unity and cooperation are celebrated and reminded of the establishment of the European Union. For this reason, there are numerous activities for the European Day - also in the Stadtwirtschaft and even more granulated: also in our location!

As if this day was not already important enough, at the same time the city building day and the museum night take place on May 09. This is why we open our doors to the open European workshop from 2 pm and offer you the following:

On 08.04. at 5 p.m. we invite you to the joint opening of the book place on the event area (same around the corner at the entrance gate Schüffnerstr. 1) of the Stadtwirtschaft. Let's store the first books in the shelves and push them on.

Dear fans of open workshops

We, Stadtfabrikanten e.V., hereby invite you to the solemnly reopening of our FabLab Chemnitz 2.0 at the Stadtwirtschaft.

Together, we would like to transition from a long period of dismantling tents and setting up new camps to a new mode and toast to this with you. We are not only celebrating our move, but also almost 10 years of our association. In the fall of 2015, we began the preliminary work of founding our association.
