Dear members and guests of Stadtfabrikanten e.V. and FabLab Chemnitz,

HAPPY NEW YEAR! ;-)

Let's start with the good news: we handed over our old club premises on time on 31.12.2023 and completed the move to temporary storage. Our new premises in the Stadtwirtschaft will soon be ready for occupation and then we will start to breathe new life into the club and the location. We already have big plans for this and are looking forward to presenting them to you soon.

Some time ago we proudly received two neat sheets for our Prusa MK3S printers. Thanks for sharing those test beds to us. We are successfully using them heavily for several months now without a greater loss of quality.

Dear members and guests of Stadtfabrikanten e.V. and FabLab Chemnitz,
On 05.11.2023 there was a ransomware attack on our in-house server infrastructure.
As a result, one of our servers was completely cryptographically encrypted and we received an extortionate request for payment. In addition, data from the encrypted server was siphoned off. We are currently trying to find out to what extent personal data of our members has been stolen and will inform those affected as soon as possible.
Charges will be filed against persons unknown.
