UWE is on again! It's taking place for the third time and we're delighted to be there for the third time too.
UWE is really looking forward to it! Whitsun is here again! Two glorious days filled with a lively mix of international urban art, hands-on and workshop offers, local arts and crafts culture and a very appealing supporting program of live music, passionately cultivated electronic entertainment and lots of delicious culinary delights. UWE is art, culture, participation and, above all, togetherness. So come along to the beautiful Striegistal and have a good time, UWE is ready and waiting!
Of course, we will once again be hosting a wide variety of national and international artists from the fields of street art / urban art, installation and sculpture in 2025. The creative storm of recent years continues to rage through our halls and will pick up speed once again until UWE.
Making, participating and, above all, doing it yourself are at the top of UWE's list. Working creatively with what is available, throwing nothing away if possible, reusing what has been thrown away and actively doing things - these are the foundations of the maker movement. Whether screen printing, gravure printing, painting, recycling, clay, mosaics, 3D printing, graffiti, DJ and technology workshops, we have once again organized a number of offers for active visitors, young and old, to let off steam in their personal maker life. Come along, learn something new, be part of it!
Our musical offering is a lot more sophisticated this year. On various stages and floors in and around the building, selected DJs will be playing house, melodic tech, techno, ambient, acid and hip-hop/soul. Live acts from acoustic to hip-hop will get you relaxed throughout the day or inspire you at the evening events.
