Christmas actually falls on Carnival for us this year! On 11.11.2024, Sachsenlotto supported us with a donation of €5,000 through the “Möglichmacher” campaign. We would like to thank Sachsenlotto from the bottom of our hearts, and especially Katrin Hoffmann from Industrieverein Sachsen 1828 e.V., who acted as our ambassador.
The "enabling funds" will not only be used to equip the new workshop, but will also help us to strengthen our European network. Thanks to the donation, we will be able to equip the workshop with items such as safety goggles, a surface-mounted three-phase power supply and, of course, building materials for our members.
The money will also be used to once again facilitate collaboration with MakerSpace residents and FabLabbers from distant countries. This summer, we already had a visit to Toulouse for the FaireFestival, as well as the co-supervision of 7 artists in the Maker Residency Week of Makers United with strong participation of auf weiter flur e.V.. In 2025, therefore, not only fab2025.cz is on the agenda, but we are sticking directly to the Capital of Culture motto “C the unseen”. We are particularly looking forward to the creative exchange with old and new friends who will be visiting us for Makers United 2025 and the pre-program week.
