Occitania meets Saxony // 13.6 & 15.6. register now!

Hi folks,

We, the Stadtfabrikanten e.V. from Chemnitz and the Verbund Offener Werkstätten e.V. want to take the opportunity during and around the time of Makers United in Chemnitz to wire ourselves and you up better. We have teamed up with Nadine from auf weiter flur e.V. for this purpose. Ideally, both meetings will result in concrete project ideas (for the year of ECoC 2025).

FabLab Chemnitz on 13 June from 2 to 3 pm in Chemnitz

… the Stadtfabrikanten e.V. invites you to the (soon to be) new FabLab Chemnitz in the special intervention area Stadtwirtschaft for a (preliminary) tour of the association's current construction site and projects. We will meet here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/7108672791.

Then it's off from Chemnitz to Augustusburg! The trains from Chemnitz main station depart at 15:36 to 15:51 or 16:36 to 16:51, for example

Open Stage on 13 June from 5 pm in Augustusburg

From 5 pm, we'll be taking a trip to the window of the Ore Mountains: in the LehngerichtsGarten in Augustusburg, we'll be continuing the cabling at the barbecue and at an open stage. Together with the auf weit Flur e.V., the makers from Vulca and from the EU Visitors Programme who will be present, it will be a not-so-formal networking evening in the local Maker Hub, at the end of which there will be at least one campfire.

The programme:

• From 5 pm: Arrival and guided tours of the Lehngericht
• 6 pm: General welcome
• 18:15 - approx. 19:30: Open Stage (everyone is invited to present his/her project or simply him/herself). Projector and small stage are available. We are currently working on something to promote networking and output. Let us surprise you.
• Afterwards: wild barbecue and sparkling fizzy drinks

Overnight accommodation is available to a limited extent (with your own air mattress in the Festsaal bed camp even almost unlimited). Food and drinks are free of charge. We may even be able to contribute towards travel or accommodation costs.
