It's that time again this weekend! Since 1999, the Linux Days in Chemnitz have been inspiring big and small, young and old hands penguins with Linux, open source and various cross-sectional topics relating to digital participation, digitization, cyber life, security, alternatives to commerce and other buzzwords for a wide range of experts and interested parties.

We will also be there! At our stand you will find exciting projects with electronics, FreeCAD, Inkscape and 3D printing. We will also be presenting our association and our FabLab Chemnitz workshop in general and what we have to do with the topic. And we will present the current state of development of the FabAccess machine access system with a live demo to try out. We are also represented, so to speak, as a small bastion of the Open Workshops Association. We are delighted to be part of the event again after 10 years, as the last time we were exhibitors was in 2015 and in between we were only visitors. Fortunately, we were also right next door to the Chaostreff Chemnitz.
At Linux-Live, various exhibitors will be showing what they do with, on and through Linux and the community and how this works or can work. There are exciting lectures and workshops, the Dr. Tux practice for tech stuff in need of repair, crispy Lightnings Talks, the tried and tested, small-cryptic PGP party and many other worthwhile points such as the Linux Night, where energy-rich refreshing drinks are fermented into creative thoughts in the community.

Admission, times, location, parking
The entrance fee is 12 oiro for large seals and 6 oiro for reduced polar bears. Penguins enter free of charge. The opening hours are: Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 08:00 to 18:00 and Sunday, March 23, 2025 from 09:00 to 18:00.
Parking spaces in the vicinity will be scarce. We recommend parking a little further out and making a pilgrimage to the lecture hall building in the beautiful weather.
Further details and thanks
All event details can be found on the sacred Linux Days website.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the organizers who have made the event possible for years and who have taken on a great deal of responsibility.
Greets, your Karl Bubble
