Welcome to Inkscape for Makers - the FabLab Chemnitz Inkscape experiments and documentation space

We are doing a lot of different stuff with vector graphics for developing things for laser cutters, vinyl cutters, pen plotters, 3d printers, general science and so far and so on. Since 2019 a mass of Inkscape extension were crawled and adopted from the deep wide web. A special collection called MightyScape initially was created in november 2019 to collect and honor them. Now MightyScape is evolving from time to time. A bunch of own extension were created, a lot of extension were migrated from Python 2 to Python 3 by our own. While doing this we gained knowledge, ideas and experiments messing around with Inkscape in general.

Funding

The further development of our Inkscape plugin suite "MightyScape" and the improvement of this documentation space "Inkscape for Makers" were co-financed in 2020 and 2021 with tax funds on the basis of the budget passed by the Saxon state parliament as part of the Fachkräfteallianz.
